Accessibility
Built to be usable.
We aim to make NorthBlanc accessible to people with different abilities, devices, and ways of navigating.
Our approach
We use semantic page structure, keyboard-accessible controls, visible focus indicators, descriptive form labels, responsive layouts, and support for reduced motion. Artwork has text alternatives and is separate from essential information. Our design target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA; this is a target, not a certification or claim of a completed independent audit.
Report a barrier
If something prevents you from using the website, email contact@northblanc.org. Include the page, the task you were trying to complete, and the device or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it. We will work with you on an accessible alternative and investigate the issue.
Applying for a role
Our careers site is ours, built to the same standard as this one: keyboard-operable controls, labelled fields, visible focus, and an application you can complete one step at a time without a mouse. If any part of it creates a barrier, email us and we will take your application another way. Accessibility is part of ongoing maintenance and is reviewed when features change.
